Data policy
Every fact is checked against the manufacturer's own published information, with the date we checked it. Plants can correct or remove their listing.
Where facts come from
Facts come from each manufacturer's own published information. Where that information is thin, some facts come from a reputable third party such as trade press, an industry association or a state agriculture directory, and the listing says so. Other directories are used only to learn that a company exists; we never copy their text. The 245 listings in the directory today were built from 1406 published pages.
Every fact is dated
Each listing shows the date we last checked the manufacturer's published information and how many pages we checked. Plants change their lines, certifications and minimums, so confirm anything that matters on the first call.
We do not publish plants' contact details
Co-Packer Match is a free brokerage. Listings show no website, phone number, email or contact page for any plant. Founders reach plants through us: they tell us what they make, we review the request, and we introduce them to plants that fit, with their approval.
A blank means not stated
If a manufacturer's published information does not mention hot fill, the listing says hot fill is not stated. It never says the plant cannot do it. A missing certification works the same way: “no GFSI scheme found on their site” is not proof the plant lacks one.
Certifications
Our GFSI filter counts SQF, BRCGS, FSSC 22000 and other GFSI-recognized schemes that a plant names. Many plants say SQF without naming the code or level, and SQF Fundamentals is not GFSI benchmarked, so those listings carry a note. See GFSI, SQF, BRCGS and FSSC 22000 explained.
Our words, their names
Descriptions are written in our own words, kept factual, and avoid claims like “best” or “leading”. Company names appear as text for identification. We do not show a company's logo without its permission.
Corrections and removal
Anyone who works at a listed company can ask us to correct, add to or remove its listing through the claim and correction form. We check each change against the company's published information or the documents it sends, and reply by email before the listing changes.
Founder information
What founders send through our forms is covered by the privacy policy. It is never shared with a manufacturer without the founder's consent.
